I created Truth Beam as part of my Third Eye Series of 2024.
The central form is a two inch circular structure built with freeform crochet using wool and colored hemp. The structure holds the image of sky and sun, with a beam of light moving downward through the center.
That vertical movement continues below the circle, forming a channel that connects the upper vision to the heart. The ceramic beads reinforce the warmth and intensity of that light, while the fiber softens and grounds it.
The cord is a hemp Kumihimo braid, anchoring the piece in traditional technique and giving it strength as a wearable form.
This piece is designed to rest over the heart as a talisman of clarity, illumination, and truth.
