Sunset Glow is a small, wearable fiber artwork inspired by the shifting colors of a sunset landscape. The body is wet-felted using wool and silk, creating a richly layered surface of golds, purples, greens, and ember tones. To echo the way light fractures as the sun disappears, silver glass beads were slow stitched across the surface in flowing lines.
The purse is finished with hand-crocheted edging and a crocheted strap designed for comfortable crossbody wear. Inside, the bag is fully wool-lined and includes a soft wool pocket, blending function with tactile beauty.
