Forest Floor Fantasy is an experimental wet-felted wool purse inspired by my love of foraging and the quiet joy of discovering mushrooms pushing through the forest floor. The shape developed organically from an unusually shaped resist, allowing the bag to find its own form rather than follow a pattern. Needle-felted mushrooms decorate the front, evoking spring, rebirth, and the simple magic found in small details beneath our feet. This piece is intentionally light in meaning. It is playful, earthy, and rooted in nature.
