Spring Wandering

$165.00

I wander in spring. I see waking trees, flowers pushing through soft ground, and a sun that promises warmth again. I carry color and quiet. My purple lining holds what you tuck away, safe and close, while my forest face reminds you to keep moving forward.

I was made to rest against your body as you walk — a companion for slow days, long thoughts, and gentle rebirth.

Garden Under the Sun
Forest Floor Fantasy

Spring Wandering is a hand-felted wool purse that captures the feeling of moving through a dreamlike spring forest. The exterior was created using wet felting, layered with multiple spring colors, then enhanced with needle-felted and embroidered trees, flowers, and a glowing sun.

The interior is lined with rich purple wool and includes a functional pocket formed with a resist during the felting process — an intentional hidden space finished by hand stitching and a button closure. A crocheted edge frames the opening, and a crocheted strap with fringe allows the purse to be worn comfortably across the body.

This piece reflects my ongoing exploration of wool as landscape, memory, and movement — a place where color and story meet.
