Guardian of the Storm Tree is a diorama-style dreamcatcher created to represent protection through awareness rather than denial. The front scene shows a rooted tree with a vigilant owl—symbol of wisdom, intuition, and silent guardianship. Behind it, a storm-darkened sky and luminous moon remind us that turmoil exists, but it does not reign.
This piece was constructed using two metal rings, allowing the front and back to function as layered worlds. The netting behind the scene serves its traditional purpose—catching intrusive dreams—while the owl stands watch, holding space for safety, rest, and resilience.
