Floating / Melting / Suspended | Needle-Felted Wool Broken Heart Wall Art (2025)
Floating / Melting / Suspended is a needle-felted wool wall artwork from my ongoing Broken Heart series, created in 2025. This piece explores transformation after emotional collapse, capturing the quiet moment when destruction gives way to renewal.
A new red heart emerges from an older, melting heart form. The surrounding wool oozes and flows outward in layered color, representing memories, former identities, and emotional residue that no longer serve the present self. Though the new heart is visibly cracked and scarred, it stands firm, dimensional, and alive.
This work reflects resilience not as perfection, but as continuation. Like a tree beginning to grow after a forest fire, strength takes shape from what was once reduced to ash.
