Molten Strength is a three-dimensional needle-felted wool wall piece from the Broken Heart series. Inspired by molten lava and volcanic pressure, deep reds and dark tones flow across the surface, giving the impression of heat moving beneath the skin.

The central crack resembles the logo of a bold, exaggerated cartoon superhero, symbolizing power. Vivid red wool appears to push through the break, suggesting intensity and transformation.

Along the side, layers of hand-dyed wool are intentionally left exposed, revealing the internal structure of the piece and honoring the history held within. Though it appears heavy and volcanic, the work remains soft, lightweight, and alive, reminding us that strength does not need rigidity to endure.
