Summer Mandala | Freeform Crochet Festival Halter Top | Hand-Dyed Wool Wearable Art (2023)

$285.00

I was born in winter, but I belong to heat.

My mandala opens at the chest like a sun wheel, calling light back into the body. I flow, I curve, I leave space where breath and movement live. My fringe sways low, keeping time with music, hips, and bare skin.

I am not rigid. I tie myself on. I adjust. I respond.

I wait patiently for summer to arrive.

I created Summer Mandala in 2023 using freeform crochet and thin, hand-dyed wool yarn. The piece features a mandala at the neckline that radiates outward into sculptural, flowing crochet across the bust, with an intentional opening above the navel.

Long fringe hangs below the bust, adding motion and rhythm. Ties at the neck and beneath the bust allow the fit to remain fully adjustable, making the piece adaptable rather than prescriptive.

Created during the cold months, Summer Mandala is wearable art that calls for warmth, movement, festival energy, and the return of sun-soaked days.
