I made Autumn Sunset during a live wet-felting demonstration at Buckley Homestead last fall, Autumn Witness carries the energy of place, process, and season. The natural brown wool forms a grounded, earthen field, while bold floral forms bloom outward in white, gold, and crimson tones.
This scarf is both artifact and adornment: a record of hands working, fibers transforming, and tradition unfolding in real time. The flowers feel almost star-like, radiating warmth and movement against the calm background, echoing the brief but powerful bloom of autumn before winter sets in.
