This is a substantial, sculptural hat—5 inches tall with a 2.5-inch brim and four thick layers of natural grey wool felted into a sturdy, structured form. The design on the front resembles shattered glass surrounding a bold, broken heart, creating a striking contrast between the hat’s physical strength and the emotional fragility woven into its imagery.
This piece is part of my November 2025 series inspired by the startk lined artwork of Kaylen Cantu, who modeled the hat with her unmistakable forest-elf presence. The spirit behind this work is one of resilience: a quiet prayer that anyone who wears it will feel both protected and empowered, carrying their own brokenness as a badge of honor rather than something to hide.
Hand-washed, hand-picked, hand-dyed, and shaped entirely by me—this is a one-of-a-kind wool talisman.
