This is a very exciting find for a person like me.

Mullein is celebrated for its ability to support the respiratory system and help the body clear what feels heavy or congested. Traditionally, it has also been associated with strength and protection. It grows where the soil is poor, where other plants struggle, and rises anyway. In a few months, you will see its big, fuzzy leaves and tall stalks lining the roads and highways.

In folk practice, dried mullein leaf or flower was carried for courage and personal protection. Some would hang mullein in the home as a reminder of resilience and steady breath. Its tall stalk can be used as a torch, bringing light to dark places.
